Getting there by plane
Munich has Germany’s second largest airport. From there, S-Bahn line S8 (running every 20 minutes) takes to you the station Rosenheimer Platz in 35 minutes. From Rosenheimer Platz it is only a few minutes‘ walk to all the venues. We advise you to buy a „Single Ticket Zone M-5“ for €13.00 (this ticket needs to be validated before the journey), or an „Single Day Ticket Zone M-5“ for €14.80. If you are travelling with two or more persons (up to five), you might also consider purchasing the „Group Day Ticket Zone M-5“ for €27.80. If you prefer to get to the venue by taxi, be prepared for traffic jams and costs of around €95.

Getting there by train
From Munich Central Station, you can take any S-Bahn line in the direction of Ostbahnhof, and you will be at Rosenheimer Platz in just 7 minutes. Ticket options include the „Single Ticket Zone M“ for €3.70, the „Single Day Ticket Zone M“ for €8.80 and the „Group Day Ticket Zone M“ at €17.00 for up to five people.

Getting there by car
Only local residents are permitted to park in the side streets right near the venue – but it is possible to park in the main streets a few metres away at roughly €12 per day (free on the Sunday of the course). Parking outside the city centre is possible, e.g., in the Park and Ride facility in Fröttmaning (Werner-Heisenberg-Allee 21, 80939 München). In that case, take the U-Bahn line U6 in direction of Klinikum Großhadern and change at Marienplatz to any S-Bahn line in direction of Ostbahnhof. Please note that in order to drive into Munich’s city centre, you might need a sticker to certify that your car meets Munich’s low emission standards, otherwise you’ll risk a fee of €80, see Munich’s website for details.
